Fee

Publication Fee (Article Processing Charge – APC):
To support the publication process and ensure open access availability of high-quality research, the Journal of Big Data Privacy Management (JBDPM) charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

• APC Amount: PKR 16,000 per accepted manuscript

• Payment Timing: Payable only after the manuscript has successfully passed peer review and is accepted for publication

• What the APC Covers:

  • Editorial handling and peer review management

  • DOI registration and indexing in academic databases

  • Open access hosting and long-term archiving

  • Copyediting, formatting, and proofreading

JBDPM does not charge any fee for manuscript submission. APC waivers or discounts may be considered in special cases at the discretion of the Editorial Board.

Sources of Funding for Publication Fees:
Authors are encouraged to seek funding support for publication fees from:

• Research grants from universities, research institutions, or funding agencies

• Departmental or institutional publication support programs

• Collaborative research projects with industry or international partners

Submission Process:

1. Manuscript Preparation: Authors should prepare their manuscript according to the journal’s formatting and ethical guidelines.

2. Online Submission: Submit the manuscript via the journal’s online submission system.

3. Initial Screening: The Editorial Board conducts an initial review to check the manuscript’s suitability and compliance with submission guidelines.

4. Peer Review: Suitable manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by experts in the field.

5. Acceptance & APC Payment: Once accepted, authors are invoiced for the APC. Payment is required to complete the publication process.

6. Publication: After payment, the manuscript undergoes final copyediting, formatting, and is published online and in print.
