In the era of Big Data, privacy breaches and unauthorized data access have become critical concerns for individuals, enterprises, and governments. Traditional security frameworks often struggle to address the challenges posed by the volume, velocity, and variety of Big Data. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized, immutable, and transparent properties, emerges as a promising solution to enhance data privacy. This paper explores how blockchain can safeguard personal and sensitive data in Big Data environments by offering secure data provenance, access control, and decentralized trust models. The study further discusses practical frameworks, real-world applications, and existing challenges in integrating blockchain with Big Data analytics. Graphical analyses highlight the comparative efficiency of blockchain-based privacy models versus traditional models. The paper concludes with future research directions to fully leverage blockchain's potential for data privacy in Big Data ecosystems.
