As the integration of Big Data technologies continues to transform industries, the management of personal data privacy has become an increasingly critical concern. This paper explores user-centric approaches to Big Data privacy, emphasizing personal data control mechanisms that empower individuals to protect their data in a digitalized world. By examining regulatory frameworks, technological innovations, and privacy tools, this article outlines the need for a more balanced approach to data collection and management, one that prioritizes user consent and autonomy. The paper further explores the role of privacy by design, encryption, and blockchain technologies in ensuring data privacy. Through a detailed analysis, the study provides actionable recommendations for improving Big Data privacy governance
